After hitting .419 with two home runs and two doubles, A’s shortstop Marcus Semien was named the American League’s player of the week.

Semien recorded thirteen hits and nine RBIs while having at least one hit in each of his seven games last week. He had a four hit game against the Texas Rangers on June 7th.

The A’s finished the week with four wins and three losses.
