The forward made a decision over his future and told Chelsea, but he isn’t making it public yet. Hazard has a season remaining on his contract and has been regularly linked with a move to Real Madrid. After Chelsea sealed third place in the Premier League with a 0-0 draw at Leicester, Hazard said: “I have made my decision but it is not just about me.” The 28-year-old Belgian international said it was made a “couple of weeks ago.” When asked if his future will become clear after the Europa League final against Arsenal on May 29, Hazard responded: “I think so. We have a final to play, and then I will see.”

A few years ago, the former West Virginia quarterback (a Carolina Panthers third-round pick) would sit with his dad in Section 229 at Bank of America Stadium, rooting for Cam Newton. Now he backs up Newton on that field, with a former NFL cheerleader wife and 2-year-old daughter, but Grier’s life wasn’t always peachy after a failed drug test led to his departure from Florida and a year away from the sport. “I grew up a lot. But it was all kind of my journey in growing and maturing,” Grier says. “I’m not trying to prove anything. I’m just here with the Panthers, trying to help them win.”
