The on- and off-ramp at Oyster Level Boulevard on Interstate 101 in South San Francisco stays closed early Tuesday after an enormous rig toppled to its aspect and dumped sand onto the roadway the prior evening, authorities mentioned.

The incident occurred about 7:30 p.m. Monday when an enormous rig crashed and fell onto its aspect on the southbound on-ramp at Oyster Level Boulevard on Interstate 101, in line with the California Freeway Patrol.

The on-ramp and adjoining off-ramp remained closed Tuesday morning. There isn’t a estimated time for reopening.

Authorities have been on standby early Tuesday ready for crews to reach to mop up the sand that fell out of the truck, CHP mentioned.

There was no fast info on accidents.
